It's Halloween

So anyone who knows me I am not the biggest fan of Halloween, however my friend Alexis got me to decorate my house in some cute fall decorations. Not too much Halloween but what I have I love. We even got together the other day (as she has a Cricket) and cut out vinyl shapes and decorated cheep plates at the dollar store. I have to say I was having a lot of fun as my I was getting my craft on......ha

Fall frolics

Tim and I took a trip to Denver on Sept 17th to have a little get away. We test drove cars went shopping and then drove into Estes Park and over the Rocky Mountains. I have never been this way and it was so beautiful. At one point of the drive we were above the tree line on basically on top of the mountains. While in Estes Park I saw my first Elk ever. There were 8 all together just hanging out in the middle of town. Crazy! It was a fun trip and found a wonderful new mall to go shopping at.

A New Beginning

I never thought it could happen but it did. Love found me when I wasn't looking for it. It can be a daunting task at our age as people are set in the ways of life with little room to change. However, we all want to be find that special someone who we can share life challenges with till the end of time. The world of technology allows people to find each other through the wonderful world of single sites, (this one happened to be ldssingles.com). Tim loves to set goals and found himself making a goal for 2008 being one date in 08. He joined ldssingles and came across my profile which, happened to not be active at the time. He email me anyway (which I am very glad he did) and after two weeks of ignoring the notifications I decided to log on to the site to see who had been emailing me. Tim was one and after previewing his profile I joined for a month so I could respond to him. Little did we know that after 18 months of good times and bad times (to where we even broke up but soon got back together) that we would now be Husband and Wife! It has been a wonderful journey getting to know Tim and even though we don't agree on everything we do have a balance of trust, understanding and unconditional commitment to each other. I am so happy we found our way and look forward to the journey of a life time.
